Last week, we had the privilege of witnessing some incredible talent and innovation at our pitching session!

A huge congratulations to all the passionate SMEs who pitched with us to share their visions, solutions, and growth strategies. These SMEs are the backbone of innovation, each bringing unique ideas that are shaping the future of their industries. From tech startups to sustainable solutions, the diversity of ideas and the dedication of these founders was truly inspiring.

A big thank you to everyone who attended this event, and to the businesses who pitched. We’re excited to see where the SMEs go next and look forward to supporting them through the next steps as they move on to due diligence.

Yesterday, we wrapped up our final event of October with an engaging online session featuring four great businesses who pitched to our angel investors. Each company received invaluable feedback and are now preparing to move into due diligence.

Yesterday we were in Leeds hosting our first pitching session of October. A huge thank you to all our angels that attended, the businesses who pitched with us and all the hard work you have put in on the run up to the event and to RBC Brewin Dolphin for hosting us!

With 8 businesses pitching and looking for funding, it was a busy afternoon but a very successful one. We wish all the businesses the best of luck as we now move on to our due diligence sessions.

Today marks the return of our in-person pitching sessions, after the summer holidays. We are excited to be back in Leeds at Cazenove Capital, seeing 6 businesses pitch for funding.

What a huge success!

Today was our final August event, and what an event it was! We saw a room full of investors, and 4 businesses looking for funding. All 4 businesses received great feedback and secured some interest in moving on to due diligence.

We would like to thank all our angels who attended and wish the businesses the best of luck as they move on to the next stages.

An exciting angelgroups update!

We are excited to announce that Martin has been elected to be part of the UK Business Angel Association’s Technical Committee. This gives us a voice around the table, and Martin is looking forward to getting involved.
