This year for IWD the focus is on inspiring inclusion to help forge a better, more inclusive world for women, and in the industry we work in this is something we focus on daily.
We love to see female angels, founders and businesses in such a male dominated industry and we took the opportunity this week to chat to some of the women we work with.
š£ āBeing a female angel investor is really important, as diversity matters; as shown by the shortage of funding for female-led businesses.Ā I try to focus my angel investing on female-led or minority-led businesses, because I know from experience how much harder we have to work to get the recognition we deserve.ā Joanna M. – angel investor.
